Something I ran across that might interest you;
Speedlaces

When I switched to the Altra Lone Peak 3.0 from the Solomon XA COMP 7 the only regret was the speed laces on the Salomon's. I loved the way the speed laces work the tension evenly through the eyelets.
I found this aftermarket product and thought I will give it a try.
I was trying to think through any possible failure points.
1. Aluminum Screw becomes stripped from over tightening.
2. Speedlace eyelet becomes worn from mud/dirt and shoe lace saws through it.
3. Carry spare parts/tools
4. Fixing a problem that may not exist.
Anybody using them and your thoughts?
