Ran into a NOBO thru hiker in PA

Did boiling Springs to Duncannon PA 2 days ago. Ran into a through hiker named Alpine who started new years day. He was Just south of Duncannon PA.

Only saw 2 other camping hikers on the trail in 2 days and a handful of folks out for a walk. Water was flowing at the spring behind the Darlington shelter, a bit more than a steady trickle. Took about a minute plus to fill a 2 liter bag. That spring is listed as questionable.

Water was plentiful along the section.

That's pretty slow for this early in the season at that spring, afraid it might be dry even at leaf-out time. Perry County remains under drought watch.
