I wonder why some of the usernames are shown in red?
I wonder why some of the usernames are shown in red?
They indicate the cool people :D
Seriously, if a user is highlighted in red it just means you added that user to your "friends" list.

I believe they are Republican's, not many of those strange creatures are found on wildernous outdoor forum's unless they own logging company's ;)

They guy I mean is definitely a republican (and maybe a communist at the same time) but for sure I haven't added him to my buddy list (not even accidentally) :D

Can't mean this. I sometimes will see 7 or 8 names in red. I've never put anybody on a friends or buddy list.

seriousely, I haven't added Heather to my buddy list, and his name appears in red. And so many others do. In fact my buddy list is completely empty. I checked this out a couple of moments ago.

It means you've been a bad hiker and are very close to being banned. Make a donation to the site to reduce your chances of being kicked off permanently. :D
I just checked again. Everybody showing up red here is on my Buddy List.
But that's just me. YMMV.

Okay, after looking for the third time, there's one person showing up in red who isn't on The List.
So shame on me. I guess somebody should ask ATtroll or Rock. Clearly, I should have kept my mouth shut.

I think Chickety may be right. I was on the 2005 list. I can't seem to change my avatar as I am now planning for 2006. It is a bit misleading.

You've hit the nail on the head if I remember correctly. Also I believe the 2006 hiker group is a different color (maybe blue). I'm sure attroll will correct me if I'm mistaken.
As for the buddy list it can be found under your UserCP (like most things) or under the "Quick Links" tab on the nav bar at the top of each page. (Dang I sound like a computer geek now...LOL)
