I don't care what you say. that there's funny.
We had a mildly annoying dog encounter near Hertline Campsite this weekend. We were just about to get water from the stream when a hiker came by with an unleashed dog, who promptly dove into the stream and splashed about, stirring up silt in all directions. He was a nice dog and the owner was apologetic, but it was good ten minutes before it settled down enough to get water.
