so. It has been raining so my wife decided to set up my Father's Day present for a test drive while I was at a meeting.
This is the ul3 which we are using as a replacement for our half dome 2.
It is a little under three pounds. Larger than the half dome and than the ul2.
(Obviously buy only on sale).
As reported everything is lightweight (e.g. Thin) but with a foot print it seems stable enough.
Only one entrance but the difference in size makes a real difference in the in and out.
The extra size size also means no issues from touching the sides and enough rom to sit up.
The model is my 5' 8" wife. Typical thermarest foam pad.
Pretty as well and early daylight is gentle.
Early verdict is positive.
Staked down in the pictures but free standing in a pinch.
