Has anyone used the stoves from http://www.minibulldesign.com/? I have not, but I am in the market for something lightweight and these seem like a smart buy. If you have not used these, can you suggest other lightweight alcohol stoves that perform well on the AT? Thanks!

I use the Mini Sith and love it. Testing at ambient, 1/2 oz of denatured alcohol will bring 16oz of water to a boil in under 3 min. Just think how efficient that is. I can cook 24 dinners with a 12 oz poland spring bottle full of fuel. The Mini Sith can hold about an oz of fuel and it will burn for about 9 min. The only downside to these (and all alcohol stoves) is that you can't adjust the temp.

Check this site: http://www.ionstove.com for a small, light, good performer.

I have one of the original style mini-bulls and it does just what Tinny claims it will do. Solid stove, solid workmanship. He also has an excellent 3-cup pot and coozy.

Thanks everyone! I was also wondering how long these stoves can last. Do they deteriorate with use, or is one stove good enough for an AT thru-hike?
