I use the .6L and works great for me plus one. The 1.1 is probably a great pot.

IMO the Toaks is better all around because it weighs a lot less (3.6 oz vs 8.6 for the Halulite) and the short, wide shape is a lot more fuel efficient than the tall, narrow pots. And it is also a bit more stable with a lower center of gravity.

However, there are different 900ml Toaks pots, and the one I am referring to is the one with the 130mm base, which is this one (https://www.toaksoutdoor.com/products/pot-900-d130).

Cant beat the $4 IMUSA 12CM cup. Lighter than both, and about 1L. Make your own lid from aluminum foil.

+1 with respect to the IMUSA 12 cm cup. With respect to lid, I have had terrific experirence making lids from aluminum pie pans.

Good Luck

Yeah I usually buy the 2 for $1 baking sheets at the dollar store. Enough for many lids, and quite sturdy. I use a piece of gorilla tape as a lid lifter.

I have the GSI .6, 1.1, and 1.8

All are good, IMO. Yes, they may weigh more than titanium, but for the price the GSIs are a great buy. Mine have held up very well.

If only boiling water for 1 person and 2 cups will suffice, there is also the 10cm IMUSA. Much more compact. It holds 2 cups with a good amount of 'headroom'. I put some Sugru on the handle of this one but it still gets hot. The lid is one that Zelph used to sell... looks like it's from a Dinty Moore stew can or some such.
