Does anyone know how frequently Guthook hiking guides are updated? My A.T. guidebook is a cpl years old so I downloaded a current app as a back up? Mainly concerned about water sources in N Ga. I've only been on the AT in the spring and summer and water was abundant. Im headed out early late Sept./early Oct. Thanks for your input.

The best info for water on the guthook app is the comments section where hikers can leave notes. Most of the time it is about the water.

Water varies week to week.
The AT is an OCEAN of water
You dont need to worry about water on the AT. Ever.
Theres always enough water if you are a reasonable hiker and can carry 2L.

Yes, definitely check the comments section! And, please add comments when things change. I loved this App!!!!
