Is it safe to park vehicles at Sam's Gap in NC/TN for a week or so?

While the info is two years old, past discussions (https://www.whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php/104789-Parking-Issues-Vandalism) have indicated Sam's Gap to be safe.

Sam's Gap does not have a negative history so if there were a problem it would be more of an isolated and random occurrence. I live close and don't think much about leaving it for a night or three and I do that a couple of times a year, but I've never left it there for that long. But I also drive a 20 year old truck. If you love your vehicle more than I love mine then call Uncle Johnny's in Erwin as they are close and have shuttles.
