EMS and Walmart in Lebanon have them, there may be someplace closer to the trail that has them also. Seem to remember an outfitter right in Hanover a block or two from Dartmouth.

Educated guess based on experience living in the boonies. Call hardware stores. I hunted high and low in major urban areas for strike anywhere matches. Nothing.
I walked into a hardware store in West Jefferson, NC population 8 or 11. Bingo! Found a shelf full.
Rural hardware stores ARE the local Outfitters.
