She hiked this past year.
A GODDESS!
Tall, lean, a rock climber. She was from outh Flordia and I meet her just North of Watuga the first time and saw her many times from that point on.
At trail days she had on a mini demin skirt and a half shirt and you could see how ripped she was...long hair, a beautiful smile and Good god almighty :D

The lady we came up onshe was day hiking in the smokies myself and my two sons, all she had on was a white t shirt standin the creek. I stopped so fast to stare my sons crashed into me and we all fell on our butts . She just laughed waded across picked up her jeans and sandals and walked off. We all three made three stooges noises for the next 5 miles lol.

Actually, I was named by a lot of stinky men on a dank night around a campfire at Wood's Hole shelter. They started calling me Chewbacca, because at 20 something miles into the trail I was the only one present with a beard, which was at a 3-month mark from the last time I've shaved (Dec 31, 2000).
Later on my Italian hiking partner (Adder) listened to me explain that I already had a friend at home named Chewbacca, so he said, "Alright then, you're just tha wookie".
Like the rest of my facial hair, it stuck:rolleyes:

I remember when I first heard of "Tha Wookie"--I envisioned that person in the photos. It wasn't until later that I read about Island Mama, and she is quite beautiful. Together they are quite appealing, and very fascinating.
I'll warn you now though, I'm partial to red hair. :confused:

I pretty sure physical desire is a biological function designed to make sure we procreate.. There's nothing to learn. It's already ingrained in us. even women. I know many people that are beautiful people "on the inside." But they're not what I think about after a couple of weeks on trail. :)

I took a woman on the trail once! I have yet to hear as much bit*h'in than I heard on that day from a single woman since. Find me a female who is pretty, smart, funny, over 5 feet tall, likes the splender of being outside and won't gripe then send her my name and number. It would be nice to find one on the trail but brothers, I don't think this is the place to find a woman! Try calling Dr. Phil or even try going to a mall or two- or even weddings, women like weddings I think (try the movie Wedding Crashers for tips). Haven't found the right one I guess but I'm still looking and thats all that matters and I would supose I have a better chance of finding her on the AT since its where I spend most of my time now.

I ran into a NOBO thru hiker at the Jim and Molly Denton Shelter back in late March / early April 2004. She was VERY attractive and nice. She had a cold, as I recall and was going into town to get something for it. What is that little town..Lindley or something like that?
My first love in high school wasn't all that pretty. However, she was very attractive to me. She had an incredible personality. She was very outgoing, lots of fun, very smart, and yes, sexy. I sometimes think about her still.

First, I'm amazed A) I'm responding to this thread, B) The thread is still on topic with >7000 views, C) How little misinformation there is, but I'll change that. (BTW Pink blaze was 2004 not 2005 which may explain my hiking speeds.)
Notice, there is the term Hiker in the title. You would think that a few hikers would respond to this tread. Food should be the main criteria for any decision. I haven't looked it up, but I'm sure narcissistic means "brings warm pizza to shelter". It was dark when Sassy (and Kodiak) arrived, so I got this picture at the first road crossing the next morning where she supplied breakfast. What did you think gorgeous D's meant?

My vote would have to go to the fair "Rachel".....a nurse, as I recall. I shared the Roaring Fork shelter above Hot Springs NC with her and her friends one night in '93 or '94, then hiked into Hot Springs with them. Not only was she more gorgeous than any supermodel I ever saw on the tube, but she was a genuinely happy, beautiful, compassionate, friendly, mirthful, person inside and out.....and could blow my doors off any day off the week on the uphills! The memory keeps me company on the cold lonely nights on the trail even today!
