My friends and I are doing a weekend section hike 9/15-17 DWG nobo to Blairstown rd. 1st night at Backpacker's site. 2nd night at Mohican, ending Blairstown Rd. Anyone know how water sources are from DWG PA to Blairstown Rd. Are they running? Are there many of them? We can camel up where needed. TIA

It's about 9miles from DWG to Mohican. Camel up at the Gap. Water is available at Mohican. I haven't hiked that section in quite awhile, but I've always seen water along the way. Sunfish pond, right on the trail, is about 4-5miles in from the DWG. Have a great hike.

This is a reply (https://whiteblaze.net/forum/showthread.php/126160-Water-situation-NY-NJ-etc-southbound?p=2165349&viewfull=1#post2165349) I made recently for someone hiking sobo. Maybe you'll find some useful info.

I have to agree that low mileage is best till tender feet and knees have broken in. Have fun!
