Any experience or opinions with this one?

I know it doesn't have the reflective coating of the "chrome dome" which I would like
but it's much smaller when folded.
Just a casual hiker, but I want one in my kit for sun and rain so I've been figuring on finding just a cheap small umbrella till I find a "deal" on something lighter and better

Durability?
That's probably my primary concern.... I don't want to fool around with some junk that will fail with the hard use of walking in the woods....

I have as you said the chrome dome and once I got use to the stares, I wouldn't hike without it.However I do look the colors, don't stand out so much.

I named a guy Mary Poppins on the AT. But the joke really was on me, b/c he was dry and I was not (wet out).

I carried an umbrella for the first time one June in Maine which turned out to be the wettest June on record there. 26 days of rain and thank goodness I had the umbrella. My hiking partner stayed wet while I stayed dry.
