hard to say, since they accept your application today for a date, then "approve" it by January.

March 1st from Springer.
Kind of a long "approach trail" for the PCT. :)

For some, the AT IS the approach trail for the PCT. :-)

I applied for March 26th. The site said they will start accepting applications within 1-3 weeks. I check everyday.

May 15th....... it's been 11 years since the AT. Can't wait to get out there !
I start on March 29th!
It is an early start, but I need to leave the trail in mid-May for my little brother's wedding in the Philippines.
At least it will give a bit of extra time for the Sierras to thaw out. :)
I am super excited to get back out on an American long-distance trail.
My 2014 AT hike from GA to CT was a true highlight of my life. :sun
If anyone is starting around the same time as me - let me know! :banana
I'm also looking forward to video blogging on my YouTube channel. :D

Last minute change of plans, suddenly I had some time, so I'm hitting the trail at Campo on March 29. Hoping to make it to Kennedy, come home for a while, then back out later in the summer. The more I read and see pics of the SOCAL portion of the PCT, the more excited I get.
See y'all on the trail!
