I am curious to see who is starting the first weekend in March? I will be starting Sat. march 4th. Just wanting to know who I will see out there.

its my late start date if i cant solid up some ride plans currently cooking.from philly i jump amtrack to gainsville in a sleeper car for 325.00,then cab it to the park and ariving at 940 am on the 4th i walk up the approch trail to the top. then down to usfs 42 for a nite and off in the morn with no plans.just cruzing to katadin ill be.floatin to the flowerlands .steamin to the smokies,humpin to the ,............towns that rhym with that.if i see you ill go,.........hey poopty poopty pants!and your secret code responce will be,do you wanna know a secret? got it?

The Grayhound bus is much cheaper and the train is not much faster either.

Actually, I'll be in GA on the 4th, trail on the 5th.
Frosty and I will be starting on Tue. the 7th. from ASP.
I'm only doing the Georgia section. He's going to Mama K.

Tinker ~ I expect you'll post pics and a TR when you return from GA! I was wondering when you guys were heading down...thought it was in the next day or two. :)
March is going to kill me with so many people starting their hike. :eek:
