For the first time we've released the PCT Data Book in .pdf format. It has 5,942 locations in 192 pages. It's 8.5 x 11 format but you could print it double sided, quartered, etc.

It's free and only requires a free login to download. This is identical to the online data book and matches the 8th edition PCT maps perfectly.

Each trail section is preceded by an elevation chart. Locations with blue text show possible water sources. Locations in red show beginning of potential 15 mile dry stretch. Location in bold black are resupply departure points.

This is by far the most exhaustive data book available, pdf, print or app. You can find it on the PCT maps page:

Thanks! Great companion to Hikerbot, and since it makes my phone no heavier with it, I'm definitely bringing it along.

Question about the data points - for instance, the DB shows Boulder Oak CG at either 25.1 or 25.3, but the halfmile maps show it at mile 26. There's other deltas too.

Is this all just rounding errors, or when were these miles recorded?

Mileage depends on the source. Each source will be different. Postholer is different than HM and Guthook is different from both. If you find 2 sources that match exactly, it means they are the same source.
