Been contemplating getting this quilt for a while now verse an enlightened equipment quilt. Anybody have any insight if it's worth the money?

I bought the Alsek a few years ago, the 21 degree version of the Palisade. Excellent quality (and will remain so, even when partially made in China...), and I'm thoroughly happy with my Alsek. I did have them add 2 extra ounces of down, trying to get a true 20 degree quilt.

We also own an EE quilt, and though we love the quilt, I think the temp rating is optimistic; so I would get a 20 degree EE, or have extra down added, 2-3 ounces would do it (I added 3 ounces or so to my EE acomplice).

BTW, the palisade has been the outdoor gear lab's editor's choice for four years:

I had heard that EE had been adding more down recently. I had a 20 that was pretty optimistic for myself before they added more.
