The Boa system works well on my snowshoe bindings.

Maybe I'm being unfair, but at first look the lacing system seems overcomplicated and likely to break or jam and the concept seems like a solution desperately searching for a problem.
Now if you'll excuse me I need to go tell those dang kids to get off my lawn.

Not sure what to think about this design. Perhaps a good idea for some uses but I can't see the advantage to this design in back country use, especially in winter with conditions that can be challenging to mechanical systems. My guidelines may be a bit traditional, function over form, simple over complex. On this one I think I will see if the design withstands a test of time in the market.

I’m always weary of things mechanical, they break or malfunction, a simple lace has worked from a few thousand years, I think this a good example of not reinventing the wheel.
Not for hikers, way too heavy.
A very similar System seems to come into Fashion here, for work/safety boots.
Makes sense that you cannot forget to stow away loops and ends of the laces.
I would not trust this system for 4 seasons outdoor use.
Nothing wrong with laces there.
