Going to hike the Standing Indian Loop on Sun-Tues. Does anyone know if any of the creek crossing are deep enough to get wet or will I be able to rock hop them? Also, any cant misses on this trail? Plan on camping the first night on Standing Indian and then the 2nd night Albert mtn. Hopefully the wind wont be to bad on either one.

Hiked it (sobo) last weekend. Great time!

Managed to only dip a boot while crossing the river into the campground, otherwise at times it was a great flashback to 50 years ago and rock hopping a WV run. ALL water sources were flowing.

Enjoy!

Parts of the Kimsey Creek and Long Branch trail are normally pretty wet, with water flowing down some of the trail. There are plenty of strategically placed rocks to hop and avoid getting your shoes wet. However, in the spring time or after heavy rains, all bets are off.
