Found these rebranded Lightload towels at Walmart. Two pack for $1.44. Not significantly cheaper than anywhere else, but maybe more convenient. They appear to be identical to the other Lightload branded towels I have.

Thanks for the heads-up! I will go check these out and compare to some LightLoads I have on hand.

They may be identical but the packaging is different. They were about $4 for a package of two on Amazon. Can't recall if there were 1 or 2 towels in the package.

Except for the very first day (before expansion), are these towels substantially different from other reusable cloths?

Not sure. I found a pack of similar cloths under our kitchen sink that have been there ... a very long time. Package says 80% rayon, 20% acrylic. I'm not sure if they're good for 20 uses like the one you have pictured. Never appealed much to me; I guess I'd rather have either an indefinite use one or a throwaway paper towel, not keen on having a towel that's in between durability wise.

The UST one sold at WM says it's all rayon.

My observation (I've used one of them a couple times) is you would get a few uses. I don't think they'd last months and months. Reminds me of those clean up cloths you can buy for the kitchen that are reusable. They aren't really like packing towels.
