It's probably a longshot but I'll try anyway. Is there anyone out there in Whiteblazeland that has ever hiked trails in Korea? I'm moving over in June with my wife and I'm eager to get a heads up if there are some. Thanks

There are a lot of trails and pretty large military hiking community. I researched a couple of years ago when I was headed that way...my assignment was changed so I haven't experienced first hand but here's some links.

Great! That was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Thank you for the info.

I was stationed in Korea for 2 years. My wife is also Korean and did some hiking before she met me. I'll ask her for her input. She did say that the trails on Sorak Mountain are very nice. I never did any hiking but did lots of camping in the Air Force! There is a little hill right next to Camp Walker in Taegu. We called it M.O.C. hill. There is a Korean Communications site right down the hill from where we used to set up our mobile comm gear. It is a nice hike. Used to see the Korean men hiking it all the time.
