The wiser you get (comes with time), the more you realize that EVERYONE is day-to-day. This is the reason I am taking an unexpected opportunity (time and funds) to hike the AT. I might not finish (left knee might resist) and it might not be my cup of tea in the long term. I've been eyeing this challenge for a couple years now, slowly building knowledge and gear. Time to pull the trigger....mid April, leaving NOBO from Rock Fish Gap for a Flip Flop.
