Tired of digging a pitiful cathole with a stick or your boot heel? Got LNT guilt? Maybe you have been hankering for your own UL titanium trowel, but have not yet pulled the trigger. Good News: I have started a “Double Down” Special Deal for this hiking season that works best if you get some of your trail buddies organized together for a group purchase. If you buy just one Big Dig titanium trowel at the regular price, you can get more trowels of any size for 20% off. Yes - all the extra trowels will be 20% off after the first one. Can you dig it? Organize your own trowel party! Go wild!

I WANT TO DOUBLE DOWN! (http://qiwiz.net/doubledown.html)

I have the small original and it works better than any other trowel (including tent and snow stakes) that I have used.

+1 I've had mine for going on three years now.

I love mine, well worth the money! Nothing else digs and cuts roots like it.

I got one last year. Far superior to my prior makeshift trowel (a REI snow stake).

Another plug...this is a great little shovel, cuts through just about everything like it's warm butter. Had to look at my records, and it appears I've been using this since 2011, which is back when I first remember QiWiz starting to offer them.

Thanks everyone for all the trowel love.
Beserker has one I made in my very first year of production.
The secret is how thin the trowel is while still being very strong.
Thin trowel = cuts through stuff well.
No thinner trowel made anywhere by anyone !

I finally broke down and bought one last year and used it during my section hike of Maryland. Thanks QiWiz!

Got 2500 miles on my big dig. I won’t leave home without it.

I got my Big dig from you and it went on a bunch of shake down hikes. Now in 9 days it will start from Springer Mt with me.

Do you make these?

Yes, I make them. The first 500 or so I cut out of ti sheets by hand. Now for last 4-5 years I have a local shop laser-cut the blanks. But I still finish/smooth the cut edges by hand and bend them into their trowel shape using a blowtorch by hand and hand dip the yellow latex for the handle.
