Hey folks. I have a decision to make about attending a conference in Tallahassee in early March. Anyone know of any good camping in the area? All I can find is an RV Park and a KOA 30 miles east of Tallahassee.

Thanks.

Try Apalachiacola Nat. Forest a little southwest of Tallahassee.

Also here are some other good links.

I hope you have a good time down here. FYI it's been a really mild winter with day time temps in the 50's F, and getting down to the mid 30's at night. You still might want to check though since Tallahassee is more inland than where I'm at. More inland = colder temps.

Definitely call Trail & Ski and ask for J.C. (the owner) or Kermit if possible.
The phone number is 850-531-9001. They also have an online contact
form at http://www.trailandski.com/catalog/contact_us.php but I don't
know how frequently that's monitored. Or...email me privately and I'll call them
and relay the info. back to you if all else fails.
