Does anyone know if the Camp USA Stalker crampon would be overkill for hiking around Zion national park? Im finding it hard to gain any information on this. I have had this pair for a while but never used it outside of colorado. any help is greatly appreciated!

Define what you are anticipating doing not just where you are generally going. It would be helpful if shared when too.

If you're staying on most of the named trails they are probaby overkill but it depends on current conditions so you should definitely ping Zion NP backcountry hiking rangers for that current info. If you anticipate high elev traversing or dropping into frozen shaded slots or ice climbing or going off trail they may be helpful even required.

Zion NP can be vastly different in winter between the canyon floor near the lodge and just 1000-1500 ft higher near Kolob and the side canyons along the Virgin River. The Subway can be frozen in winter.

Again, ping the NP for conditions on the hikes you'll be going.
