Columbia has some OutDry jackets on sale

I can't find much info/reviews on them especially the new hybrid jackets on sale... anybody familiar with this product

While I think that Columbia has pretty good products I think the $99 dollar price is a little high for what you're getting here.
The description of this jacket sounds very much like the Marmot Precip rain jacket which Campmor sells for around $79.

I have a Columbia Trail Drier jacket (it's a wind jacket more than rain jacket despite the name). I really like it. No need to pay full price on Columbia stuff, which is priced a bit too high for the weight. I bought for $30-40 on Amazon which seems appropriate. The ones for sale tend to be "last years colors, styles" but no biggie.
