OK now I know I have too much time on my hands, Check out this very uncommon item I found to defeat those pesky mice in the shelters. It is a toothpick firing crossbow (https://www.touchofmodern.com/sales/uncommoncarry-8ee11dc7-fb85-48eb-8ae6-6e5ab2c71014#) and one has a laser site.

Kind of like the bug-a-salt guns for flies. That should be neat.

Cement powder for poisoning mice and rats is a nice non-toxic way to go after them.
