Congratulations to those who already secured their permits for 2018 hiking season and fingers crossed for those who are still waiting. My name is Gabi, and I am a long-distance hiker and an author from Seattle. Hiking the JMT was one of the best adventures of my life and I wish every one of you can experience it one day. It inspired me to write a book and I hope my book will inspire many people to get out there and spend some time in the wonderful wilderness that's available to us.
