I thought I would mention that there is a sale on SteriPen's on the Emergency Essentials web site. The SteriPen PUre+ purifies up to 16 ounces of water. The price is more than 1/2 of what I could find at other retailers. It looks like they are closing out their stock. I bought one as a backup to my Sawyer, but the SteriPen would make a good primary water purifier. I have seen several hikers with them on the trail and they all swear by them.
