Are you interested in mines, especially older ones that have been closed for years or maybe decades? Do you like to take side-trips while on a hike to see what most others would never discover accidentally? Thousands of abandoned, closed, and long-lost mines are everywhere, nearly every county in the nation, maybe even a short walk from your house - if you know where to go. If you like this kind of thing go to http://www.catspaw-minerals.com/Masmils%20PLUS.htm and check out the mas/mils plus CD. I got it, it's for real. I knew there were a couple of closed mines south of town a few miles, but with this I found a dozen or so within walking distance of my house. Check it out. I have no interest, financial or otherwise, in this offering. Just passing along the information to those who might like old mines.

WOW, what a cool site. I would love to explore some of those. I spent almost an hour poking around on this site
