Reading the fine print in Malto’s link, the closure was June 16.

The trails closed temporarily last Saturday after the bear/dog/woman incident. They all reopened Sunday Morning except Cabin Creek Trail and Horse Trail Connector to Massie Gap.
That’s what I said. Or rather, that’s what the park said.
It’s all good.

More information about bear/dog/dog-owner encounter in this article. Apparently it started when an untethered dog encountered the bear.
