Has anybody hiked this loop recently? What did you like/not like about it? Which of the side trails did you enjoy the most?

Hiked it last year. Loved it.

Started in Wanakena and hiked counter-clockwise.

Cat Mt. is a nice summit with a great view. We spent a few hours up there on the huge ledges.

It's a wet trail even in drier years due to beaver activity and having to walk across beaver dams in some sections.

Peavine Swamp section was very wet but not a huge deal.

Both road walks were ok and didn't really detract from the whole experience.

During our last day we hiked into Cranberry lake Campground on a side trail. Set up camp in a campsite and then headed back to the CL50. We fast-packed back to Wanakena via the trail (which included both of the road walks) and retrieved our truck. Drove back to the campground and spent the night.
