SmokeyMountainSteve helped one of the Quest racers train his dog team. That racer, David Dalton, has passed the halfway point in 6th position out of 13 remaining racers. 9 teams have dropped out.

i actually picked this book up on the AT in 2004 that someone had left behind. i just read it last fall and it was fascinating.
