OK, so the pizza thread and the four state challenge thread got me thinking - how about a challenge for us basic "stomach on legs" types
lets say eating a pizza in each of 4 states in 4 days
so bears den has the deal with a frozen pizza
there is the place across from ATC in harpers
how about MD and something close in PA?
after this one may be tired of pizza for a while, but for a NOBO that should wear off by Unionville NJ
would it also be possible in new England?
Apparently only ignorant newbies like me know this, but you can get real pizza delivered to Bears Den.
I believe its Village Pizza but just ask the caretaker guy, he will hook you up. Trust me theres nothing like being in the dinning room when everyone is commenting on the frozen cardboard pizza when your REAL pizza is delivered.
Ok I lie, the best is getting there late to a nearly full house and find you've got the bathroom, laundry and dinning area all to your self despite the mass hords and then have the caretaker give you free laundry in lieu of breakfast(preferred my own)

I got delivery at ensign cowall in 2011. As of 2018 there are several places in boonsboro that will deliver to Dahlgren campground.
Cool, I'll have to see if I get phone service and anyone will deliver. Plan is to be there on the 23rd.

From the AT a Mellow Mushroom would be at least a $40 pizza and take 2 Amtrak rides(or more expensive transport) and you'd only have a little over 3 hours to get to Adams Morgan, order, eat and return to Union Station...doable? Probably. Worth it? One would hope so :D

Pizza delivery to Pen-Mar park. They had the flier on the wall outside the first aid station. I got mine with a big salad back in 2011.
