I'm trying to find a large (3-4 quart) aluminum pot that will work with the MSR heat exchanger. At some point, Open Country sold an 8" diameter pot for < $15 that would have been perfect, but it seems to have gone off the market. Anybody know of a decent substitute? The heat exchanger appears to have a min/max range of 6.75-8" diameter.
Here's the one that -would- have worked:

Thanks!

I don't use one, but these grease pots are popular:

Grease pot is a decent item, but way too small for this.

That's perfect! I was hoping for something a bit cheaper, but the specs are spot on. Thanks.

I'm a little curious about this set I just ran across on Amazon. The large pot should be almost 3.4 liters if I'm doing my math right. For $34 it's tempting to pay for a closer look:

Go to thrift stores. There are a million old aluminum pots from the 50s.

I have one of the old non-coated Open Country 4-quart pots. I measured the diameter and it is right at 7-1/2". It was used a lot in the Whites and Daks but is still in perfect operating order. The duct tape tab on the lid handle lets you grab it while wearing thick mittens.

$10 shipped.
