What are the weights?

I am headed to my parents house next weekend to make mine. I decided to use a great untapped resourse, my grandma.

Hoping to make 3 quilts, 2 top and 1 under. This should give me a system that I can use for any weather. I am trying for a 3 season setup around 2.5 lbs, and a 4 season around 3.5 lbs.

Neo,

I applaud you for making your own stuff. Something I would never have attempted without a push from Peter Pan. But there are more factors to be considered than price. What will your final products weigh and how small will they pack?

Hiking is alot easier when your 3-4 day load is under 20 pounds and looks like a day pack. Especially for us old farts.
