A question about Guthooks?

I have Guthooks app on my phone. I am located in Florida and when I pull up the App it shows my closest location to be Gooch Gap and all the mileage is calculated from there.

Is there a way to turn off the GPS function or to trick the App to show my location as Springer Mountain? It would be nice to have the actual miles shown and not have to calculate it.

On the Guthook Florida Trail app the letters GPS appear in the lower right in a small green square. Tap the square and it turns red, indicating the GPS is off.
