View Full Version : Parking at Amicalola Falls State Park
Just wondering about parking inside the park. How strict are they with the 2 weeks for the park entry fee? I know you can pay $55 for up to 6 months. I’m going to be doing a section hike from the park to Fontana Dam. I would hate to pay $50 more dollars for just a couple of days. Thanks all!

What about parking at the dam? Getting your shuttle at the beginning of the trip?
You could call the park visitor center and ask them, they will be bale to answer it better than anyone here.

I would consider parking at the dam as well.
If you do park at Amicalola, I would think they would work with you on parking. You do have to put a long term pass on your dashboard that has the estimated return date, but I don't think they are super strict if you are off a little.
Sorry, I left out that we’re taking two cars. Parking one at Fontana Dam and one at Amicalola Falls.
