If the same questions weren't asked over and over don't you think we'd run out of things to talk about?

I've generally found the search function on most forums to be totally inadequate, inaccurate and generally a waste of time. You type a search term into Google and you generally get what you were looking for...that doesn't usually happen when I search a forum...don't know why, but I just haven't found the search feature on forums to be all that effective.

1. a meeting or assembly for the open discussion of subjects of public interest
2. a medium for open discussion
3. a public meeting place for open discussion

I agree.
Plus, virtually every question about backpacking the AT has probably been answered. If people use the search function they would better off using Google.

Yep the forums would be a lot less active for sure.

I had the same problem when using my old iPhone 3GS. I recently got a new phone and the problem went away.
