Great link and sounds like a answer to if and when you would run out of alcohol and now you can still use a stove :)

If you have one of those less than ultralight windscreens for your alcy stove (roof flashing), just poke 4 holes in it and insert 2 stakes for a pot support (or notch the top and put your stakes there. Build a fire in the middle and use it to cook. (Disclaimer - if fire is too hot, the roof flashing may soften and buckle).

Looks really interesting. I like the storage method. I'd like to make one but I don't think flashing would work. It would have to be steel or titanium. I made a woodstove a long time ago but it was so bulky I don't like to pack it.
