One more day. I meet up with Tinker tomorrow evening outside Worcester. Quick trip down to Rhode Island to get his pack and gear, and the journey begins. Drive overnight, be at Hiker Hostel Monday night. Start off from Amicalola Tuesday morning to hike to Springer. Step off Springer early on the morning of March 8 and follow the white blazes.

Pack weight without food/water:
20 pounds, 2 1/2 ounces

Water to start:
2 pounds

Food to start:
4 pounds 8 ounces

Total pack weight:
26 pounds, 10 1/2 ounces

Weight of clothing, poles, boots etc, worn or carried:
6 pounds

Total FSO (from skin out) weight:
32 pounds, 10 1/2 ounces

This morning my body weight was 260, right on the nose. I'm hoping this will be lower in a few days or weeks.
