Quick note for anyone who cares. The Katahdin Brook Lean-To just outside of Baxter SP on the IAT (Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument) has a large wasp nest inside the lean-to. When trying to sweep out the place, I was stung as a swarm left the nest.
We immediately left to camp elsewhere.
Editorial: The site wasn't even that nice to being with, especially since there's no place to put a tent.
