Anyone hiking in '07 wanna start a pool league? We can keep records and make it an ongoing tournament from town pub to pub, all the way to maine, where the two highest ranking teams will have it out for the gold...

What constitutes a 'higher' ranking team?? Is this about speed? Because if it is I'm NOT in. I think the trail will be hard enough without having to beat the clock.:-? EXPLAIN YOURSELF

Count me in, I was looking to do another long distance hike. So we should each throw in a few hundred and then the most points gets the purse on the Big K.

If the two of yu are really that bad, then we'll split you up and team each of you up with someone good. Although something tells me you don't suck as bad as you say you do. My hustler radar is going off.
I am down for it...Any excuse to get me into a pub is AOK with me. We would need to figure out how to keep track of the points, since we are all starting at different times and hike a different paces. Maybe we can use a WB thread to keep tally.
I might give it a go. How are we gonna do the logistics?

I think a WB thread to keep track would be a great idea. We can use the registers at the shelters to arrange matches and such. It'll be a blast.

No I have domestic responsibilities that will limit my long distance hiking. I can be found lurking on the many PA trails though. DWG is one of my favs. When passing through give me a shout and I may be able to assist.
