I am planning a trip from Wayah Bald to NOC soon. Does anyone know if the water at the Cold Spring Shelter is running right now? Thanks!

A week ago it was running just fine. It's always amazing to see a spring at the top of a mountain flowing with all this dry weather.

Thank you for the report! I agree. I live just outside Chattanooga and it has been very dry for the last 3 months. If anyone else has information on the water between Wayah Bald and NOC I would appreciate it. Thanks!

Spring just north of Wesser Bald was flowing a week ago. 130.8

As of June 14 of this year, the water at Cold Spring Shelter is flowing quite well, right out of the pipe.
