Aldo Leopold Wilderness New Mexico

Can any body recommend a 4-5 day hike in the Leopold. I'm going to White Sands at the end of the month for some training and plan on spending a week in the Leopold and a week in the Grand Canyon. Snow is no problem and the more isolated the better. Would like to do a loop so I don't have to shuttle but would be happy to shuttle to get a better quality hike. Have all the maps and several books but would like to hear from someone whose kicked the dirt in the area. Appreciate any info.

havent been to leopold, but we were just in new mexico this weekend. the white sands are awesome. only a couple hours away, guadalupe mtns natl park is spectacular as well. if you can swing down that way, i would recommend a hike there. many opportunities for a loop.
