I would like to tell everyone thinks for all the imput on the questions I have asked in the past few months. You guys have made me think about some of the way I hike and pack. For all the better I hope. I will be getting on a plane tomorrow and begining my journey on the trail. Thanks again everyone and hope to see some of you out there.

Wow, this is really exciting!

My journey starts one year from tomorrow. Hard to believe, really. It's been SOOOOO long (thirty years in the making). I'll probably stand by that arch at Amicalola and then at the plaque on top of Springer and rub my eyes to make sure this is for real. Wow.
