The Georgia swamp monkey(perhaps a related species) has one eye and a pronounced white goatee. Are we speaking of the same animal?;)

The Swamp Donkey has 2 eyes, is brown, has long legs and floppy ears and is usually seen up to it's belly in muck/swamp in the Northeast.

I am extremely skeptical regarding the supposed existance of a 'swamp donkey'. I would think that the large concentration of moose (especially in northern NH) would account for this. Perhaps young moose might be mistaken for the 'swamp donkey'?

are you by chance referring to what we call a Moose? or is a swamp donkey something entirely different?

OOOFA! No wonder it's reclusive. I propose hunting any remaining swamp monkeys into extinction!

Are you talking about swamp ass?
If so, it's not really that reclusive.
It usually can be found in the morning after a heavy night of mexican food and budweisers.

A swamp donkey is a moose. Maybe that term is exclusive to New England (I'm from CT).

Swamp Donkey is a slang term for Moose up here in the northcountry. Don't ya'll think it's a fitting name for the king of northern swamps?
