I have a Miraposa pack which certainly isn't very rugged. Does anyone have a suggestion how I can pack the poles for my Virga2 without punching holes in the pack fabric? Thanks.

With the outside webbing and straps on the mariposa you can slide the poles through the shock cord and rest the bottoms in the webbing. Should be snug. And since the poles aren't tall they will conform to the profile of your pack and not snag branches, etc. I've got a squall 2 and a golite jam. I'm just going to slide the poles on the side and strap them down. Placing them inside just won't work for small packs, especially ul packs.
Take care
