Vermont Road Crossings

The last time I drove to County Rd in Pownal, VT, there was an immense amount of construction going on and giant trucks were going up and down the trailhead in both directions.

Does anyone know if the western approach to County Rd is now passable?

Also, are either Stage Coach Rd or Sucker Pond Rd possible shuttle drop-offs?

I don't live in that part of the state so don't have an answer for you about road construction. I suggest you contact the Green Mountain Club. Someone should have information about the road. In addition, the GMC has a list of people who provide shuttles. Have a great hike!
