I'm his Dad and wondering if any person came in contact with him. He returned to the trail on April 4th on or about Harpers Ferry southbound. Like to hear from any body who came in contact with him.

Ya can't miss him he's 6'4" a beard and about 185 lbs.

Thanks all and good treking

Supporting dad.

Mr. Ritblake, I guess indeed we are neighbors. Were you hiking the "Giant" today ?

Well my son "3rd degree" checked in the other day and told of the hospitality at Front Royal hostel. He also signed up as a registered member on this board. So if any hiker on the AT spots a big guy trudging South say hello from his dad.:sun

Now that sounds more like Paul Bunyon and a lot more noticeable:) . At 185 you'd just be another tall, skinny thruhiker.

You havent hiked in Connecticut until youve done the 'Giant'! We live within a 10 minute bike ride of the giant and it was my tromping grounds/playground as a kid

Good to hear from you Brian. By the time this venture is over you'll be down to 200 lbs.;)

BTW where are you ?

Dad

Rit, I'll be a looking for your dad and the dog but I'm usually not on the Giant at the early hours. Right now the peepers are still singing away. ;)
